[ARCHIVED] Information Regarding Roanoke County Bagged Leaf Collection

Bagged Leaf collection in Roanoke County will occur on the regularly scheduled bulk/brush collection days. Residents are asked to put their bags to the curb by 7 a.m. on their regularly scheduled bulk/brush day. Roanoke County residents are not required to use specific types of bags for leaf collection; however, leaves MUST be contained in either tied bags or sealed boxes. Bags should not weigh more than 30 pounds. Roanoke County cannot provide vacuum services for leaves raked to the curb or in the drainage ditches. This type of activity will cause drainage issues. Please contact Roanoke County Solid Waste at 387-6225 for more information.
