Trash Collection for Thanksgiving Holiday Week – Nov. 24-28, 2025

Monday & Tuesday routes collected Monday, November 24.
Wednesday routes collected Tuesday, November 25.
Thursday routes collected Wednesday, November 26.
Please place your containers to the street on the listed day and leave until emptied.

Roanoke County Solid Waste Administrative staff will be available to answer your inquiries by telephone and email the day before Thanksgiving until 5 pm. The majority of Roanoke County services will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26.

Roanoke County administrative offices will close at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Offices will remain closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.
