[ARCHIVED] Huntridge Road Survey

Text Call To Action to complete a Huntridge Road survey

Roanoke County receives frequent complaints about speeding on Huntridge Road. Four possible options are being proposed to help reduce vehicle speeds.

Allow for a $200 Speeding Fine that can be added to speeding tickets issued on Huntridge Road.
Install a permanent speed board on Huntridge Road where speeding is greatest that tells drivers their speed.
In the wide curb and gutter section of Huntridge Road, between Golden Circle and Cortland Road, stripe a white line on one side of the road to indicate on-street parking to narrow the perception of the roadway to slow drivers.
Extend the double yellow centerline from the eastern Labradore Drive to Courtland Road.
