Due to inclement weather, Roanoke County Administrative Offices, Libraries and Green Ridge Recreation Center will be CLOSED Tuesday, February 11, 2025. 

The Roanoke County Board of Supervisors meeting for today has been postponed until Thursday, February 13 at Noon. 

• CORTRAN transportation services are CANCELLED for Tuesday. 
• Trash Collection will be delayed this week. Residents should place their trash containers at the curb when it is safe to do so and leave until collected. 
• All Roanoke County courts are open today.
• Residents and businesses can still conduct County business online at www.roanokecountyva.gov.

As a reminder for residents:

• Reserve 911 for emergencies and contact utility companies directly to report outages.
• VDOT maintains Roanoke County's streets. For Roanoke County snow plowing updates, call VDOT at 1 (800) 367-7623, or submit an online VDOT work order at https://my.vdot.virginia.gov. 
• Report power outages to AEP at 1 (800) 956-4237 or visit https://www.appalachianpower.com.
• To report problems with water main breaks or water outages, contact the Western Virginia Water Authority, 24 hours a day at (540) 853-5700 or submit your issue to https://www.westernvawater.org/about-us/contact-us/online-contact-form.
