[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Releases OneView Upgrades

OneView Opening

(ROANOKE COUNTY, VA – February 3, 2025) The Roanoke County Information Technology Department’s GIS staff has recently released new upgrades to its popular OneView application. OneView that contains professional power tools in a user-friendly application.

OneView provides the general public with local government property and assessment information, planning and zoning data, environment, utility and government services information. To find information about any location within the County, simply click on the map or enter an owner name, valid address, or parcel number in the search box. Mobile users can use the app’s location features to utilize their current location to view information.

New features in the upgrade include

A new Swipe tool that gives users the ability to view different years of imagery with a “quick swipe;”
Newly updated Search Box with Search History – see your last 6 searches for a quick return to previously searched properties;
The ability to add various Roanoke County Enterprise GIS Data Layers and Basemaps to your custom view;
A newly optimized experience for mobile devices;
An enhanced and updated Print Tool for users.
