(Roanoke County, VA – March 18, 2024) Roanoke County is hosting a community meeting for the Peters Creek Road/Williamson Road Multimodal Safety Improvements project tonight between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Hollins Library, 6624 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. The meeting will be open house-style where attendees can come and go as they please. At this meeting, attendees can review and comment on proposed improvements to intersections between Wood Haven Road and Plantation Road, as well as proposed pedestrian accommodations. These concepts may be developed into funding applications for SMART SCALE Round 6 and other transportation funding programs.

Before the meeting begins, an online survey will be posted to the project webpage at www.vaprojectpipeline.org/studies/salem/sa-23-06.asp. Exhibits will be available after the meeting at www.RoanokeCountyVA.gov/PCW. The survey will be open until April 1, 2024. Paper copies are available upon request.

Date: Monday, March 18, 2024

Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as an open house-style meeting where attendees can come and go as they please.

Location: Hollins Library, 6624 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019

Inclement weather date: Wednesday, March 20, at the same time and location.

If you cannot attend the meeting, the proposed improvements will be posted online after the meeting and a survey will be available until Monday, April 1st.
