[ARCHIVED] Board of Supervisors Press Conference Urging A Regional Approach to Reopening Economy

(ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. -- May 1, 2020) The Board of Supervisors held a press conference on the morning of May 1 urging Virginia Governor Ralph Northan to consider a regional approach to reopening the economy. In his remarks during the press conference, Chairman David Radford explained how the current COVID-19 pandemic is having a disproportionate effect on Roanoke County’s small businesses and its residents. The press conference was held outside Roanoke County’s Green Ridge Recreation Center.
