[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Route 220 at Roanoke/Franklin County Line Open to Traffic

Route 220 north and southbound at the Roanoke/Franklin County line has been re-opened to traffic this afternoon. While additional work is still needed in the northbound lane, the permanent lane closures that were in place have been lifted.

Next week, weather permitting, drivers may see a northbound lane closure in place to complete the rest of the work. This lane closure will be during the day at non-peak hours, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. This work is expected to complete the project.
