[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Libraries and Recreation Centers Closed Sunday, December 9, 2018

(ROANOKE COUNTY, VA – December 9, 2018) - All Roanoke County public libraries and recreation centers are closed today. All scheduled activities have been canceled. All recreational youth basketball practices and activities have been canceled.

This includes Green Ridge Recreation Center, Explore Park and Brambleton Center as well as scheduled athletics activities. Updates will be provided regarding the operating status of these facilities for Monday. Explore Park will remain closed on Monday due to the difficulty of road access and closures on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
