[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate SunTrust Bank Robbery

Bank Robbery Suspect

(Roanoke County, VA—May 17, 2018) Roanoke County Police responded to a report of a robbery at the SunTrust Bank on Williamson Road/Peters Creek Road in the Hollins area of Roanoke County this morning. The call came in to the Emergency Communications Center at 9:05 a.m. The suspect took an unknown amount of money and fled on foot. No weapons were displayed.

Police received information that the subject was seen getting into a darker colored or black Dodge Charger, possibly a 2005-2010 model. Roanoke County Police has released photographs of the suspect and is asking the public to help identify this person. Police are still investigating this case and anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
