[ARCHIVED] RCACP to Hold Cat Centered Adoption Event

On September 9th the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection will host an event focused on cat adoption between the hours of 11:30 am and 5:30 pm., at 1510 Baldwin Avenue, NE, Roanoke. The event will begin with a “Cat Yoga” class. Come find your zen starting at 11:30 am. Bottle feeding demonstrations will take place throughout the day, and all adoptions are free.

August has been an extremely high intake month for cats as well as dogs. The RCACP currently has 142 cats residing in foster or at the shelter. We hope that we can reduce our numbers and encourage people to spay and neuter their pets to prevent overpopulation in the community. Please join us! #teamrcacp
