[ARCHIVED] Glenvar Library Children's Art Show

Calling all young artists!!! Glenvar Library will be hosting a Children's Spring Art Show throughout the month of April. Children ages 3 - 11 are invited to submit art inspired by their favorite books. The art can be any medium and can include three-dimensional works, such as sculpture, pottery, or collage. Art can be submitted in person to Glenvar Library, during business hours, before March 31st.

All art will be reviewed by the Taubman Art Museum's Art Venture Staff. Winners will be chosen in three different age groups: 3-4 year olds, 5-8 year olds, and 9-11 year olds. Ribbons and prizes will be given out to winners in each category.

To showcase the masterpieces we will host an Art Show at Glenvar Library on April 6th from 4:00 to 6:00pm for the artists and their families. Light refreshments will be served and the winners will be recognized. It will be a delightful event to commend the young artist's work and their love for books!
