[ARCHIVED] Police Charge Woman in Robbery

(ROANOKE COUNTY, Va.) July 28, 2016 – At 1:48 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, a citizen reported that upon arriving at her home, in the 2200 block of Sorrel Lane, a vehicle pulled up, an armed female stepped out and approached her, then took her purse. The armed female then fled the scene in her vehicle. The citizen was not injured.

After an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Roanoke County Police Department, Angela Leigh Legans, 55, of Roanoke, was arrested last evening. She has been charged with Robbery and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony. She is being held without bond.
