Public Input Encouraged at Final Community Strategic Plan Focus Group Meetings

The final Focus Group meetings for the Community Strategic Plan will be held on Monday April 25 and Thursday April 28. These meetings will combine Focus Groups and the information provided will be identical, so participants may attend either meeting. The agenda will include:

• Lead Staff presenting a brief overview of the topics and goals prioritized by each Focus Group;
• A presentation on Strategic Initiatives being developed for the overall Community Strategic Plan utilizing the Focus Group results; and
• An opportunity for participants to provide comments on the draft Strategic Initiatives.

Draft Community Strategic Plan Document
When the final Focus Group meetings have concluded, a draft Community Strategic Plan document will be compiled. The draft will be available for public review and comment on or around June 1 until June 30.

Four Open House-style Community Meeting sessions have been scheduled for June 16 and 27 for citizen review and comment on the draft Community Strategic Plan document:

Board of Supervisors Meetings

After the Community Meetings have wrapped up, the draft Community Strategic Plan will be presented to the Board of Supervisors in a Work Session on July 19th. The Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on the document at its August 9th meeting.
