[ARCHIVED] Accident on Route 311 Blocks Road, Motorists Advised to Avoid Area If Possible

Rt 311 accident

Police have reported an accident on Route 311, south of Bradshaw Road in Catawba. A vehicle ran off the road and into a power line pole. The pole broke and is now hanging over the road, blocking both lanes of traffic. One vehicle was involved in the accident and the driver was transported to an area hospital.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
