[ARCHIVED] Police Close Rt 419/Electric Road Due to Suspicious Package

May 2, 2014 (3:15 PM) - A suspicious container was reported in front of the Roanoke County Administration building on Bernard Drive this afternoon at approximately 3:15 PM. Roanoke County Police are responding. Roads around the area are in process of being shut down and people should avoid that area.

Rt 419/Electric from Starkey Road to Chapparell Drive is now closed off, as well as Penn Forest Boulevard between Starkey Road and Chapparell Drive.
