[ARCHIVED] CANCELED: Blasting Scheduled for Connors Run Road, Friday, October 18.

CANCELED: Blasting schedules for 12 noon today at 1786 Connors Run Road has been canceled. Blasting has been rescheduled for October 22 at 12 noon.

Roanoke County Fire & Rescue officials are advising residents of blasting at 1786 Connors Run Road in Roanoke County on Friday, October 18. Blasting is scheduled at approximately 12 noon, depending on circumstances at the site.

The site of the blasting is close to Red Lane and Hanging Rock Golf Course. Roanoke County Fire & Rescue officials will be on site to observe the blast, which should take approximately 10 minutes or less. Drivers in the area may encounter a brief road closure during the blasting.
