[ARCHIVED] Traffic Accident Blocks Plantation Road near Interstate 81

Roanoke County police are working a two-vehicle crash that is expected to block traffic for at least the next two hours along a portion of Plantation Road to Interstate 81. Traffic is blocked in the northbound lane from Milk-a-way Drive at Plantation Road to the interstate. Motorists are asked to avoid this area.

The delay is the result of a crash involving a tractor trailer and car. Nobody was hurt but the load that was being transported by the tractor trailer has to be unloaded onto another trailer. The hope is that the road will reopen to traffic by noon.
