The Professional Standards Unit is comprised of the PSU commander, the Accreditation Manager, and the Recruiter.
This unit is responsible for recruitment and retention, internships, creation and implementation of Department policies, selection of sworn and civilian department personnel, promotional processes, internal affairs investigations, and CALEA re-accreditation.
