What Will It Take?

"What Will It Take" was developed to educate teen drivers about the dangers of driving while distracted by passengers, exceeding the speed limit, and texting while driving. The idea behind the message is simple: many traffic crashes can be avoided. Studies show that the highest lifetime risk of a fatal crash occurs during the first year of driving. Since 1999, 1,637 teens have died in traffic crashes in the Commonwealth of Virginia and another 8,371 were injured in 2011 alone.

Help prevent teen fatalities by sharing this video with your driving age children, and contact Sgt. S. Hoopes at 540-777-8674 for more information about crash prevention and safe driving.
